Watching this, currently in my cart, and added to my holds list at the library
The Best Links of the Week
I’m excited to watch this when it comes out.
These spirit-free spritz have been popping up all over and I’m looking forward to giving them a try.
We know how I feel about vintage (excellent, I feel excellent about vintage). Here are 7 things to always buy vintage.
This top was the most popular link shared on Instagram this week. And it just got restocked.
67 of the most anticipated books of the year. Some of these are already available for pre-holds at my local library.
My insomnia has been having a field day this week, but I’ve been following these 3 tips and they’ve been helping me fall back asleep faster.
We’re experience a romcom-aissance this year. Here’s 27 to watch this year (3 of which came out last weekend!)
Women can have it all. (And this woman is one I admire greatly)
Mine and Seth’s favorite comedian just dropped a new special.
Currently in my cart. I love the slightly more feminine twist on the boxer shorts that took us by a storm last summer. I wore mine with an oversized oxford and a pair of strappy leather sandals, and cannot wait to do so again when it warms up!
This coffee table is a great balance of traditional and fresh.
Thank you for your kind responses to what I shared yesterday. When I started this just a couple of weeks after I miscarried, it was a grasp for some semblance of normalcy when I felt nothing like myself. And the community that has come from that continues to catch me off guard (in a very welcome way). So many hugs to all of you!
Low of this week: probably unsurprisingly, it’s been a heavy week and my mental health took a bit of a nosedive. The days on end of rain and cold also didn’t help…but the sunshine is out today and we’re taking it day by day!
High of this week: a hockey game with my Sweet Seth. The Canes were down 4-1 in the second period and came back to win it in overtime. It was exhilarating. Note; I’m not much of a sports person and am in it for the snacks and camaraderie. But I do think hockey is the most fun sport to watch. Anything with a time-out box for grown men has my appreciation.
Currently reading: this, this, and this. All of which are good but not great.
Cooking: Pavlova! I had the chance to go to a cooking class and dinner with my mom where we were served the most fluffy, chewy pavlova topped with drizzled chocolate, fresh fruit, unsweetened whipped cream, and a dusting of powdered sugar. They were, in a word, divine. I’m determined to attempt to recreate them and am cautiously optimistic at best! Any tips you have are welcome!
